About the Role
For our Mechatronics division in Shtip, we are looking for Senior Maintenance Engineer.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and manage schedules for regular equipment inspections and servicing activities, including cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement, to prevent unplanned downtime and equipment failures.
- Support the design and implementation of new production lines by providing technical expertise and improvement proposals. Lead projects related to equipment installation, transfer, and commissioning.
- Provide support to the maintenance team through prompt response and effective coordination during machine or production line breakdowns. Establish maintenance priorities to minimize production disruption.
- Investigate and analyze failures on machines, workstations, and production lines, and develop permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues.
- Ensure complete technical documentation is obtained from equipment suppliers and manufacturers. Develop maintenance work instructions, prepare spare parts lists, and maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Propose and implement initiatives to improve equipment performance, productivity, reliability, and product quality. Lead projects focused on enhancing equipment energy efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Verify that all machinery and equipment operate safely for employees. Promote and enforce compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of automation systems and automated manufacturing processes, including PLCs, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design and maintenance software, including BricsCAD, SolidWorks, and maintenance monitoring and management systems.
Your preferred qualifications
- Ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems using a structured approach.
- Effective cooperation with technicians, maintenance specialists, engineers, and managers across the organization.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, particularly when addressing urgent equipment failures.
- Capable of remaining calm and making effective decisions in high-pressure situations when production is interrupted.
- Focused on identifying opportunities for process optimization, equipment reliability enhancement, and operational excellence.
